Multiple pages in SDDC Manager UI (Workload domain, Hosts, Guided Setup, etc) do not finish loading after login

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
In On-boarding Page (Guided Setup), Connect to My VMware Depot status in Configure SDDC Manager card keeps loading. After this multiple SDDC Manager UI pages do not load properly.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 5.0
Vmware Cloud Foundation 4.5
Vmware Cloud Foundation 5.1

Cause

Uncaught exception error when loading depot configuration data. Specifically when there is a depot connection that is NOT MyVMware connection.

Example: Only connected to DELL EMC and not MyVMware.

 

Resolution

Currently there is no resolution to the issue. This will be fixed in VCF 5.1.1 and future release.

Workaround:
To workaround the issue

1. Launch SDDC Manager UI
2. Enable the "Don't launch guided setup after login" checkbox in Guided Setup page (This will prevent the onboarding page will not be loaded after login)
3. Reload the browser tab at any other SDDC UI page.

To complete any of the steps in the Configure SDDC Manager wizard, you can use the dedicated SDDC Manager UI pages in the Administration section.
