Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

When navigating to workload domains page, the following message is displayed:
"Failed to load VI domains general hardware detail information. Something went wrong.."

Error in /var/log/vmware/vcf/domainmanager/domainmanager.log

Cause

This issue occurs in an uncommon scenario where an upgrade was available for a domain and the domain was deleted before performing an upgrade.

Resolution

Resolved in VCF 4.5.2 release

Workaround:

To workaround the issue, please follow the below mentioned steps:

  1. Take a snapshot of SDDC Manager. 
  2. ssh to the SDDC manager and open a session as root.
  3. Execute: python3 /opt/vmware/vcf/lcm/lcm-app/bin/bundle_cleanup.py <ESXi Bundle ID>
