Pricing data for VMs from failed vRA deployment not present in vRealize Operations

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Deployment results in failure status in vRealize Automation
• VMs specific to the failed deployment were not detected in vRealize Operations, so pricing data was not captured

Environment

VMware vRealize Operations 8.4.x
VMware vRealize Operations 8.3.x
VMware vRealize Operations 8.2.x
VMware vRealize Operations 8.1.x

Resolution

This behavior is by design.  The vRealize Automation adapter for vRealize Operations is responsible for capturing data for VMs onboarded to vRealize Automation.  The adapter will only capture data for successful deployments in vRealize Automation.
