Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Creating a bill for multiple OVDCs (Organization Virtual Data Centers) at once in vRealize Operations Tenant App for vCloud Director fails

Resolution

This is a known issue in vRealize Operations Tenant App for vCloud Director 8.6. There is no resolution at this time.

Workaround:
To workaround the issue:

1. SSH to the vRealize Operations Tenant App for vCloud Director appliance using root credentials
2. Run the following command to change directory

cd /opt/vmware/va/config

3. Using a text editor (such as vi) edit the common.sh file

vi common.sh

4. Search for start_ui_container and remove the line containing --pids-limit 100 \
5. Search for start_db_container and remove the line containing --pids-limit 100 \
6. Save and close the file
7. Reboot the vRealize Operations Tenant App for vCloud Director appliance
