Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • The VMware Chargeback (formerly known as vRealize Tenant App for vCloud Director) VAMI is not accessible


Environment

VMware vCenter Chargeback 1.x

VMware vCenter Chargeback 8.x

Resolution

  1. SSH to the VMware Chargeback (formerly known as vRealize Tenant App for vCloud Director) appliance as root
  2. Run the below command to check the status of the vami service
service vami-sfcb status
  1. If the output states that the service is not running, run the below command to start it
service vami-sfcb start
 
Note: The vami page should be accessible within a few minutes.  If not, please contact VMware Support.



Additional Information

To stop the services, run the below command

service vami-sfcb stop
