Issue/Introduction

How to export an existing Report's Definition/Template in Watch4net/MnR. This can be used to upload to another user's profile or for customizing reports while keeping the original report intact.

Watch4Net/M&R-7.x

Resolution

To export an existing report's definition. This can be used to upload to another user's profile or for customizing reports while keeping the original report intact.

To export Report Definition/Report Template, do the following:

1. Log into the account where the MnR/Watch4net report is available.
2. Select the node or report on the left side and click on Edit Mode button as highlighted below:
   
   

3. Click on Exports drop-down menu (highlighted below) and select Report Definition/Report Template, refer to screenshot below:
   
   
4. Once exported, follow the instructions Export and Import a report tree to import the file.
