Issue/Introduction

The purpose of this knowledge base article is to highlight mib-browser functionality which has been deprecated in M&R 7.0 and later.

Symptoms:

When launching the mib-browser, an error is displayed and the functionality is not available.

Environment

7.0u8+

Resolution

• The Mib-Browser has been deprecated in M&R 7.0+ however the following work around can be applied to get the functionality working:
• Remove the installed mib-browser
  ./manage-modules.sh remove mib-browser)
• Move the mib-browser of 7.0+ version from Repository navigate to /Tools/Module-Repository) and remove the mib browser version there
• Install the mib-browser from 6.8u5 version and place in in the module repository
• After the file has been place in /Tools/Module-Repository
  ./manage-modules.sh install mib-browser
