Issue/Introduction

To provide information regarding the use of the Smarts MIB for trap processing and explain where do the Traps .1.3.6.1.4.1.133 present in the Trap Exploder log file come from

Environment

Smarts 10.1.X / 2.X

Cause

These traps are generated by Smarts SNMP library whenever the Trap Receiver detects that the incoming trap rate has exceeded the configured threshold and has begun to discard traps.

Resolution
