How to activate VMware Workstation with a valid license key.

Symptoms:

• Invalid License Key.
• Unable to activate Workstation Pro during installation on Linux Host.

Environment

• VMware Workstation Player 16.x (Linux)
• VMware Workstation Pro 16.x (Linux)

Resolution

1. Close Workstation.
2. Open terminal and type "VMware"
3. Enter the valid license key on the opened dialog box.

Impact/Risks: Unable to use application after 30 days trial period.
