Issue/Introduction

From 7.0 U3 you may see the following Skyline Health alert "Hosts with pNIC TSO issues".

Environment

VMware vSAN 7.0.x

Cause

If a physical network adapter supports TSO but it’s not enabled, vSAN health check will show a yellow alarm.

However if you see the alarm with a blue information icon, it means that the network driver doesn't support TSO.

Resolution

The user can enable TSO by the following command on the ESXi host with issues:

esxcli network nic tso set --vmnic <nic> --enable 1
