Issue/Introduction
Symptoms:
Trying to mount an NFSv3 File Share residing on a vSAN datastore using the primary IP address fails.
Cause
The primary IP address can not be used for accessing all NFSv3 shares.
Resolution
To resolve this issue:
- Open vSphere UI client
- Go to Cluster > Configure > vSAN > File Shares
- Select the share you want to mount
- Click the COPY URL button and use the mount address provided
