To resolve this issue shut down and then power on the On-Premises vCloud Availability Appliance for the OVF environment information to be re-applied to the VM.
- Navigate to the vSphere Client where the VM is running.
- Select the VM and click Shut Down Guest OS.
Note: The VM must be fully shut down, do not perform a reboot of the VM.
- Once the VM is powered off, click Power On.
- Log into the management portal for the appliance to verify you are no longer redirected to the initial configuration page.
Workaround:
To work around this issue if you are unable to power cycle the VM, you can access the On-Premises vCloud Availability Appliance management portal by connecting over port 8440. For example, the URL entered into the browser would now look like https://
On-Prem-Appliance-IP-address:8440/ui/admin.
