Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • When editing the Tunnel HA TCP Balancer address in the Cloud Director Availability Provider Portal, the changes are not applied and you see a message similar to:
p.form.value.port.trim is not a function


Environment

VMware Cloud Director Availability 4.x

Cause

This issue occurs when copy and pasting values into the TCP Balancer Address and Port fields of the Tunnel HA TCP Balancer in the Cloud Director Availability Provider Portal.

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting Cloud Director Availability 4.6.
Currently, there is no resolution.

Workaround:
To workaround this issue, update both the TCP Balancer Address and Port fields by typing them in manually.
  1. Log into the Cloud Director Availability Provider Portal.
  2. In the left pane under Configuration, click Settings.
  3. Under Tunnel settings next to Tunnel HA, click Setup.
  4. Delete the current address and port in the TCP Balancer Address and Port fields.
  5. Manually type both the address and the port using your keyboard.
  6. Click OK.
