"Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'id')" error migrating a vApp template in Cloud Director Availability 4.x

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
When migrating a vApp template no catalogs are listed in the Destination Catalog step, and you see an error similar to:
Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'id')

Environment

VMware Cloud Director Availability 4.x

Cause

This issue occurs when the credentials used for the authentication prompt in the Migrate vApp Template workflow are not valid credentials for the destination Organization.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in Cloud Director Availability 4.6, available at VMware Downloads.

Workaround:
To work around this issue if you do not want to upgrade, do the following:

1. Connect to the source Cloud Director Availability Provider Portal, and log in as a System Administrator user.
2. Navigate to the Outgoing Replications view and click the Templates tab.
3. Select the vApp template replication and click All Actions > Change owner.
4. In the new window, ensure the the owner is set to the destination Organization.
5. Connect to the destination Cloud Director Availability Tenant Portal, and log in as an Organization Administrator for the destination Organization.
6. Navigate to the Incoming Replications view and click the Templates tab.
7. Select the vApp template replication and click Migrate.
