Issue/Introduction

  • Newly VM's created in vCenter are not available in vRealize Automation after a successful data collection from the vSphere Cloud Account.
  • An error similar to the following can be found in the provisioning-service-app logs:
The object 'vmodl.query.PropertyCollector:session[<UUID>]<UUID>' has already been deleted or has not been completely created


Environment

VMware vRealize Automation 8.1.x
VMware vRealize Automation 8.0.x
VMware vRealize Automation 8.2.x
VMware vRealize Automation 8.3.x

Cause

This issue is caused by an enumeration failure when adding the new object to the vRealize Automation database.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in vRealize Automation 8.3 Patch 1 ( Cumulative Update for vRealize Automation 8.3 ) and later.
