Dependent fields populated by external source in vRealize Automation custom forms are not populated with values

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Dependent fields populated by external source actions in custom forms are not populated with values.
• Request submissions may fail & external source actions return null values when they are dependent on the values of other fields in the form.

Environment

VMware vRealize Automation 8.11.x

Cause

The fields dependent on each other are executed out of order by the code with null parameters, as a result the external actions return null values.

Resolution

The issue is scheduled to be resolved in the Aria Automation 8.13.2 release
