'Error creating cxf security context' failure when validating vCloud Director cloud account credentials

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• VMware Aria Automation is configured with FIPS enabled.
• Validating vCloud Director cloud account credentials in Aria Automation fails with error:

Failed to validate credentials.Error.Error creating cxf security context, java.security.KeyStoreException: JCEKS not found, JCEKS not found, JCEKS KeyStore not available

Environment

VMware vRealize Automation 8.x

Cause

vCloud Director is not compatible with FIPS enabled VMware Aria Automation. This is outlined in the Credentials required for working with cloud accounts section of the using and managing cloud assembly guide.

Resolution

As FIPS cannot be disabled VMware Aria Automation would need to be redeployed with FIPS disabled in order to integrate with vCloud Director cloud accounts.
