Aria Automation shared images and flavors are not visible in subtenants

Issue/Introduction

• Aria Automation shared images and flavors created in base tenant are not visible in subtenants.
• While not visible under image mappings the user is prompted to auto-complete the image name when creating a template in the design canvas.
• Attempts to query for the images for example in a custom form backed by an orchestrator action, no results are returned when running the out of box actions "Getallflavormapping" & "Getallimagemapping" in subtenants.
• If you run "Getallflavormapping" & "Getallimagemapping" against the base tenant, you will get results.
• The behaviour is a known limitation of the IaaS Api which these orchestrator actions rely on.

Resolution

 

To work around you can manually create the configuration Cloud Account etc in the sub-tenant in order to manually add image mapping however this negates the ability to manage infra from the master tenant.
