Can I configure Smarts IP Availability Manager to ignore alarms from the same interface type across multiple devices?
Which tpmgr-param setting allows filtering on an interface on more than one device?

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Resolution

You can exclude the interfaces for a specific model of device using a pattern such as the following:

IFTypePattern-.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.436 ~103

However you cannot configure Smarts IP to filter the same interface across multiple devices. This filtering must be done on a device-by-device basis
