No Syslog events sent by Smarts syslog adapter due to command syntax error

Issue/Introduction

Syslog Adapter starts but does not send any Syslog notifications into the OI Server

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Cause

The --rules parameter specifying the trap_mgr_parse.asl is not at the end of the command as required.

Resolution

Make sure the syntax of the command used to start up the trap adapter ends with the asl file name.
