[vRNI] [6.6] Data source table search & select all scope not working as expected

Issue/Introduction

This article provides information on how to fix an issue that prevents the "select all" button when searching in the data sources table from working properly.

Symptoms:
When searching in the data sources table and then using the 'select all' button, the table selects all data sources without the search. Expected behaviour would be that it only selects the data sources that are shown in the filtered table.

Environment

VMware vRealize Network Insight 6.6.0

Resolution

• This issue will be fixed in vRealize Network Insight 6.7.
• A patch is available for download and to fix the issue

To apply the patch:

• Login to vRNI UI
• Browse to Settings > Infrastructure and Support > Offline Update > Click here
• Select the location of the downloaded patch
• Follow the instructions on screen to apply the patch
• Reboot after patch is applied is not needed.

To verify the patch is applied:

• Browse to Settings > Accounts and Datasources
• Search for datasources names
• Select "ALL" then ensure the number of datasources selected reflects the right number of datasources

Additional Information

Impact/Risks:
Unwanted datasources bulk edit and deletion may occur.
