Issue/Introduction
Symptoms:
Not able to remove vRNI collector node from the UI despite no data sources are connected to it.
Error seen on GUI is "Please Remove all datasources and discovery profiles from collector VM before detaching it from Platfrom VM" , error screenshot as below
Environment
VMware vRealize Network Insight 6.9.0 Aria Operations for Network 6.10.0 Aria Operations for Network 6.11.0 Aria Operations for Network 6.12.0 Aria Operations for Network 6.12.1 Aria Operations for Network 6.13.0
Cause
Stale entry for discovery profiles from collector VM in database post datasources removed/deleted from GUI.
Resolution
Stale entries need to be cleaned up from Aria Operations for Networks database.
Open Broadcom support case for GS team to work further and clean up database entries as this need to be done under GS supervision
