Incorrect IPv6 route advertisement is being sent from edge causing dataplane issues

Issue/Introduction

• VMs configured with IPv6 and connected to T1 gateway also configured with IPv6
• Prefix length is not a multiple of 8
• Route advertisement is being sent to VMs which breaks their network connectivity
• ND profile under the T1 configuration is configured with RA enabled

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX 4.2.0

Workaround:

• Change the prefix length to a multiple of 8 (64, 96,124 etc)
• Create and attach a new ND profile with RA disabled under the T1 which is connected to segments having non-standard prefix lengths.
