How to update Capv password for management cluster and workload cluster.

Issue/Introduction

This document contains the procedure to change the capv password for the Management clusters and workload Clusters

Resolution

Prerequisites

Ensure that your password meets the minimum security requirements listed in the interface.
 

Procedure to update capv password for Management Cluster :
 

1. Log in to the VMware Telco Cloud Automation web interface.
2. Go to Infrastructure > CaaS Infrastructure > Cluster Instances.
3. Click the Options (⋮) symbol against the Management cluster that you want to change the password for.
4. Click Change Password.
5. In the Change Password pop-up window, enter your new password and confirm it.
6. Click Change Password.

Procedure to update capv password for workload cluster:
 

1. Log in to the VMware Telco Cloud Automation web interface..
2. Go to Infrastructure > CaaS Infrastructure > Cluster Instances
3. Select the cluster (for which the password needs to be changed)  and Go to Add-On Tab
4. Edit “system settings” add-on and update the cluster password.
