[VMC on AWS] HCX Interconnect Appliance Redeploy fails with error "Interconnect Service workflow OvfUpload failed "

Symptoms:

HCX tunnel is down and error seen in the task when performing Redeploy of appliance
Message seen include:
"Interconnect Service workflow OvfUpload failed "
"Appliance Config is incomplete, please check credentials"
Redeploy/Resync of the Interconnect fails with error  "Cannot complete login due to an incorrect user name or password."


CLI healthcheck command (hc) returns "Peer Site Connectivity down"

 

Cause

This can be caused by reachability issues between the peered sites.

Resolution

Ensure that both sites have connectivity in both directions.
Check the VAMI page "htps://HCXmgr IP:9443"
Verify vCenter is showing up healthy for authentication 
If not, re-authentication of the vCenter is required
Once the vCenter looks green and connected in the VAMI console, re- connect the Site pairing .
