[VMC] Error: Failed to allocate EIP

Issue/Introduction

Attempting to request a new Public IP from the VMC Console fails with the below error:

"Failed to allocate EIP"

Environment

VMware Cloud on AWS

Cause

• The limit for Public IP addresses has been reached. 
• The default soft limit for Public IP addresses is set to 75. 

Resolution

• To have this issue resolved, the Public IP limit needs to be increased. 
• Open a ticket with the VMC on AWS Global Support team and include the following information:
  • Organization ID
  • SDDC ID
  • Public IP limit needed
  • Business Justification for the increase (Note: Limit increases over 100 requires addtional review from AWS and a strong business justification.)
