[VMC on AWS]Cleanup the stale port/segment on NSX

Issue/Introduction

Provides details about how to troubleshoot and fix the issue

Symptoms:
To delete the stale attached port on NSX after validating no VM /VM template is associated with this segment

Cause

If a VM is deleted from the Vcenter  and is verified that the VC shows no VM /  VM template associated with that segment
Yet VMC UI shows 1 port associated with this segment.

 

 

Resolution

• Validate  the Logical Switch you would like to work to get removed.

• Cloudadmin Credentials would throw up an error as insufficient previliges .
• User needs to open a Service Request with VMware Global Support Services and include the required information to work on remediation.

Additional Information

Impact/Risks:
Prevents the customer from using the cloudadmin account to delete the port from the NSX side
