The Single-Click Offline Upgrade cannot be started after uploading the bundle for vRNI 4.2

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• The environment is being updated to 4.2 using the single-click offline upgrade process.
   
  Single-Click Offline Upgrade
   
• After uploading the upgrade bundle, you encounter one of the following:
  • The UI does not present a prompt to apply the upgrade.
  • The prompt attempts the online upgrade.

Environment

VMware vRealize Network Insight 5.x
VMware vRealize Network Insight 4.x

Cause

In some cases when the environment has been enabled for the online upgrade prior to attempting the single-click offline upgrade, the online upgrade path is followed after the bundle has been uploaded via the UI.

Resolution

This is a known issue impacting upgrades to vRealize Network Insight 4.2 and will be corrected in a future release. If you are experiencing this issue, please contact VMware Technical Support for assistance.
