Characters are repeated when typing on the Web Console of a VM hosted on VMware Cloud on AWS

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
When typing in the Web Console on the vSphere Web Client using Mozilla Firefox, some characters may be repeated.

Environment

VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.5.x
VMware vCenter Server 6.5.x

Cause

This issue occurs when typing in the WebMKS based Web Console on the vSphere Web Client on Mozilla Firefox versions 54.0 or later.

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting vSphere Web Client web console.
Currently, there is no resolution.

Workaround:
To work around this issue, launch the Web Console using a browser other than Mozilla Firefox such as Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.
