1. On vCenter Server 7.0 U3, cluster remediation cycle may be interrupted by vSAN health check warning “SCSI Controller is VMware Certified”, in case the upgrading ESX host has Intel VMD enabled.
2. On vCenter Server 7.0 U3, vSAN health check may report a false warning (see below picture as an example) for ESX hosts with Intel VMD enabled in the “SCSI Controller is VMware Certified” check.
1. VMware will provide a fix in upcoming patch releases.
2. If a cluster has ESX hosts with Intel VMD enabled, user can choose to ignore this “SCSI Controller is VMware Certified” health check warning or silence this health check when performing cluster remediation.
