Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • After rebooting vCenter Server Machine or restarting "vmware-vpxd" service, two "VM Overrides" settings for specific VMs in vSphere HA cluster would be reset to their default value.
  • The following attributes would be affected.
  • "VM restart priority condition"
  • "Additional delay"
Note: For vCenter Server Windows 6.5/6.7 the service name is vpxd .


Environment

VMware vCenter Server 7.0.x
VMware vCenter Server 6.x

Resolution

Currently there is no resolution.

Workaround:
To workaround this issue, please restore the affected values manually.
