Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• In the Bundle Management screen, you see the following information:

VMware Cloud Foundation Update 4.1.0.2
Released Mar 15, 2021. 204 MB
Configuration drift bundle for 4.1.0 hot patch update.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 4.1

Cause

A VMware depot bundle VMware Cloud Foundation Update 4.1.0.2 was scoped incorrectly and was available for a short time.

Resolution

To remove the VMware Cloud Foundation Update 4.1.0.2 bundle from the environment:

1. Make sure there are no upgrade or bundle downloads currently running.
2. Using SSH connect to the SDDC manager and switch to the root user.
3. Navigate to /opt/vmware/vcf/lcm/lcm-app/bin
4. Run this command to remove the bundle:

python bundle_cleanup.py 347a5902-7457-4133-becd-9b0f0c1a446a

Additional Information

Impact/Risks:
This bundle will not harm the environment, it is recommended that this bundle is removed.
