Issue/Introduction

This article provides a summary of the important features and bug fixes implemented in the Linux vmmouse driver contributed to the upstream Linux kernel. Linux distro releases are expected to include all of the changes described below through the specific version of kernel that the distro release is based. The OS vendor or community may also have back ported a subset of changes from newer Linux kernels to their releases. Please contact the OS vendor or community for availability of specific patches that have been back ported from newer kernel versions.
