Issue/Introduction

To inform and provide a resolution for the customer.

Symptoms:
When attempting to perform a VCDR failover test, the following warning can be seen in the Events step 1.1 preparing cloud storage resources to run VMs - "Could not prepare cloud file system <Cloud File System name> to reliably run VMs."

Cause

This can be caused
  • If any connectivity is not in place for the connector
  • If the Cloud File System is not mounted on all of the hosts
  • Any HA related issues
