[VMC] Unable to apply HCX liscense key

Issue/Introduction

This article provides a workaround if you are unable to apply the license key to the existing or new HCX connector.

Symptoms:
Cannot apply HCX license key after deploying the cloud manager instance and generating the connector license key.
Error: "Upgrade license is not supported for this appliance"

 

Resolution

The workaround is to redeploy the HCX connector.
