[VMConAWS] Steps to upgrade HLM Gateway from v8.0.1 to v8.0.2 after SDDC upgrade from 1.22.x to 1.24.x

Issue/Introduction

This article outlines the steps to upgrade HLM from v8.0.1 to v8.0.2 in VMC on AWS

Symptoms:
VMC Hybrid Link Mode Gateway cannot be directly upgraded from version 8.0.1 bundled in SDDC v.122 to version 8.0.2 bundled in SDDC v1.24. 

Resolution

If the current SDDC version is 1.22.x and is scheduled for an upgrade to SDDC version 1.24.x, follow the steps below to upgrade to the HLM gateway.

1. Unlink the linked domains and decommission the v1.22 (8.0.1) VMC Gateway before the SDDC is upgraded to v1.24.x. Follow the steps mentioned in the KB article: Decommission a vCenter Cloud Gateway
2. Post SDDC upgrade, download and configure the v1.24 (8.0.2) version of VMC Gateway. Refer documentation: Installing and Configuring VMware Cloud Gateway  
3. Link the newly deployed Gateway to the upgraded Cloud vCenter. Refer documentation: Configuring Hybrid Linked Mode from the Cloud SDDC
