How to rename customer-managed external storage attached to an SDDC cluster in VMC on AWS

Issue/Introduction

To make TSEs/Customers aware that currently renaming the External Storage is not supported.

Symptoms:
After adding an external storage to SDDC cluster using the Storage tab in VMware Cloud Console there is no option available to rename it.

Resolution

Renaming external datastore is not supported at this point, it is in future roadmap for VMC on AWS users.

Workaround:
As a workaround please unmount and mount datastore with the desired name.
