HCX site pairing broken after the SDDC is upgraded to SDDC v1.20. with error - hcx error Host name 'xx.xx.xx.xx' does not match the certificate subject provided by the peer
Symptoms:
HCX site pairing broken after the SDDC is upgraded to SDDC v1.20. with error - hcx error Host name 'xx.xx.xx.xx' does not match the certificate subject provided by the peer
Cause
This failure is due to certificate being not refreshed on HCX post SDDC upgrade.
Resolution
To resolve the issue and refresh the certificate please follow the steps below:
1.From the HCX dashboard, go to Infrastructure > Site Pairs.
2.Edit the HCX connection/site-pairing setting
3.Re-input the Cloudadmin password for the site pairing and submit
4.Accept the prompt of the certificate and the site pairing will connect again.
