In SDDC-Manager the task Configure vRealize Log Insight Agent on vRealize Automation 8.x gets stuck and never completes.
Combination of the disconnect workflow doesn't clean-up the vRealize Log Insight - vRealize Automation configuration properly and the taskĀ Configure vRealize Log Insight Agent on vRealize Automation 8.x is not indempotent.
Currently there is no resolution for the issue. This will be fixed in future releases.
To workaround the issue, please follow the below mentioned steps:
ssh to SDDC-Manager vm and run the following command - systemctl restart domainmanager (this should get the task to failed state after the service restarts).
ssh to one of the vRA vms (doesn't matter witch one) and run - vracli vrli unset (this will clean-up the previous configuration).
Restart the "Connect vRealize Log Insight to Domain" task from sddc manager.
