Issue/Introduction

This article provides the steps to increase snapshot disk size.

VMware Cloud Foundation Service Upgrade fails with error: Snapshot disk size cannot accommodate the VFree requirements of the applicable disks. Expected size(MB): []. Snapshot disk size (MB): [].

 

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 4.5.x

Cause

LCM disk (/dev/mapper/vg_lcmmount-lv_lcmmount) was manually extended without increasing snapshot disk (/dev/mapper/vg_lvm_snapshot-lv_lvm_snapshot).

Resolution

Please open a ticket with Broadcom Support.
