Sometimes the NFS datastore turns dysfunctional, blocking the host commission

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

Host commissioning fails at the step of Mounting NFS.
Example - "Failed to mount NFS datastore on Host(s)  - [esx.x.y.local]"
The nfs share lcm-bundle-repo will not be accessible across the hosts.
Exact Error details :
Description :
Configure NFS Datastore on New ESXi Hosts
Progress Messages :
Failed to mount NFS datastore on Host(s) - [esx.x.y.local]
Error:
Message: Failed to mount NFS datastore on Host(s) - [esx.x.y.local]
Remediation Message:
Reference Token: EGJV4I
Cause: All hosts are skipped, failing the workflow.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 4.x

Cause

The NFS share at times mis-behaves. This is apparantly an issue with the photon NFS server.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, please follow the below mentioned steps:

• Start with NFS server reboot and NFS refresh, this should solve the problem.
• If this does not resolve the issue, then restart the SDDC manager.
