Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • After DNS configuration: various Day-n operations fails with error NSXT Manager cannot be resolved.

  • After NTP configuration: VCF day-N operations may fail due to time drift.

Example: VCF Day N workflow Credential rotation failing with (Message: The time set on Compute Manager ,<vcenter_domain_name> is ahead of the time set on NSX by 21,398 seconds. Update the time on Compute Manager or NSX so that the difference between them is less than 60 seconds and try again.)

Cause

Multiple NSXT managers use case is not handled correctly. Only one NSXT manager is updated with the configuration. The selection of NSXT manager (to be updated) is random.

Resolution

The issue has been resolved in all releases post 4.1.1.0.
