Deploying VM's from content library shows customization specifications for a different vCenter server

Issue/Introduction

This article provides information on how to deploy VMs with the customization specifications provided in the currently selected vCenter server.

Symptoms:
The customization specifications shown are for a different vCenter server in enhanced linked mode when deploying virtual machines from content library,

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 6.7.x
VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.7.x

Cause

The HTML5 vSphere Client takes the customization specification manager of the first vCenter Server in the list of connected vcenter servers.Depending on how that server list is ordered, it may list the wrong customization specifications.

Resolution

VMware is aware of this issue and working to resolve this in a future release.

Workaround:
Duplicate the customization specification you want to use on the vCenters.
