Issue/Introduction

• IPFIX Switch Profile in NSX-T is not supported and should not be set up manually.
• Undetermined North-South traffic showing and unrealistic Data Rates in Tbps.

 

Environment

• VCF Operations for Networks 6.13.0
• VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.0

Cause

This issue is caused by manually adding an IPFIX Switch profile to NSX.

This will provide the IPFIX Switch Profile with the same "Observation Domain ID" as IPFIX DFW Profile, which will cause irregularities in SDM calculation.

 

 

Resolution

Remove the IPFIX Switch Profile
