Issue/Introduction

This article provides information on discontinuation of free VMware workstation license key for any candidate who are VCP certified.

Resolution

• Starting August 31st, 2015, VMware no longer distributes complimentary Workstation Licenses to newly VCP-DCV certified candidates.
• VMware will no longer be able to retrieve the license keys that were issued to the candidates earlier.
• To purchase any new VMware workstation license keys, candidates can visit the VMware store (http://store.vmware.com/ )
