Issue/Introduction

VMware is announcing an extension of End of General Support (EoGS) and End of Technical Guidance (EoTG) dates for Avi Load Balancer release 22.1.x.

The EoGS date has been extended from 30th June 2025 to 31st December 2026.

In addition, 1 year of technical guidance period from 1st January 2027 to 31st December 2027 is being introduced.

 

Notes:

1. Refer to ​​VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (Avi) Release Notifications (90370) for latest release notifications.
2. Customers using Avi Basic Edition are strongly recommended to move to Avi Enterprise or Enterprise with Cloud Services, given the announcement of End of Availability (EoA) of Avi Basic Edition. Please refer to https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article?legacyId=96386 for details on Avi Basic EoA and EoGS.
3. No further extension will be provided to the EoGS and EoTG dates.
