Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

AD user with VRM Administrator role in vCenter encounters an error when launching configure/re-configure replication from Site recovery actions option.

Environment

• VMware Site Recovery Manager 8.x
• VMware Live Site Recovery 9.0

Resolution

1. Add the AD user at vCenter/root folder level for both vCenters by logging in as [email protected] 

2. Add the user to SRM permissions on each site:


 

 

Now, the user will be able to configure replications and have full VRM Administrator permissions.
