Issue/Introduction

To provide a workaround and resolution when installing the VCGA with a custom vSphere domain.

Symptoms:
When deploying the VCGA using the 6.9.1 ISO and not using the default vSphere domain of "vsphere.local", the deployment fails during the "Single Sign-On" configuration.
No error may be present and only a red bar will appear at the top of the UI intaller.
The error in the installer.log is similar to: error: SSO version api error: undefined

Cause

This is caused by a known issue when deploying using the VCGA 6.9.1 UI installer

Resolution

To resolve this issue, deploy the VCGA using the 7.0 ISO.

Workaround:
If the 7.0 ISO is unavailable, deploy the VCGA using the Command-Line installer (CLI): https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Cloud-on-AWS/services/com.vmware.vsphere.vmc-aws-manage-data-center-vms.doc/GUID-0E2B63C4-E525-491A-A641-0FAF5729D17D.html
