VMware Velocloud SD-WAN
What actions do I need to take if I am using an SD-WAN component that is using an affected Release 4.x.?
If you are running an affected release 4.x version, please upgrade to a recommended release listed in the KB article VMware SD-WAN Edge Software Versions: Recommended Releases.
What is the impact to an SD-WAN component (Orchestrator, Gateway, or Edge) using an affected 4.x release after EOGS on a VeloCloud-hosted Orchestrator?
There is no adverse impact to any SD-WAN component using an affected Release 4.x that becomes EOGS. The component would continue to use the full SD-WAN service. The only impact is that a component using an EOGS release is ineligible for additional software or security fixes and patches.
Can I create Support Requests for a system component using a Release 4.x that becomes EOTG?
No, VMware will no longer accept Support Requests relating to a Release 4.x version after it is EOTG per the schedule listed above. Customers and partners may continue to use information related to that release on our knowledge base and communities.
Who do I contact if I still have questions?
If you still have questions, contact your support provider for further assistance. If you have support entitlement with VeloCloud, please raise a Support Request.
