Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • An error is displayed on screen when manually updating the Reference DB:
Unable to load the reference file. See the log files for more details.


Environment

VMware vRealize Business for Cloud Advanced 7.x
VMware vRealize Business for Cloud Standard 7.x

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware vRealize Business for Cloud 7.x.

Workaround:
As a workaround connect directly to the vRB Administration page and update the Reference DB:
  1. Log in to the appliance using this URL: 
https://<vRB_Domain>/itfm-cloud/vraLogin.html.
Note: Use vRA tenant, user id and password.
  1. Change to this URL:
 https://<vRB_Domain>/itfm-cloud/administration.html.
  1. Upload the RefDB file.
